For physical & mental development through sports, socialization and for lively environment, parks and playgrounds are needed in each area of city. Presently in Dhaka city, there are not enough number of parks and playgrounds. There is lack of maintenance of open spaces. Parks and playing grounds are used for organizing various events. At the time of possession, the citizens are deprived of its benefit. Strict enforcement of existing policies and laws is very urgent for accessing the people in its usage as well as preservation.
