PM's Special Envoy committed to raise voice for Non communicable Diseases Control

``Non-communicable Diseases (NCD) Control  should be priority to reduce health burden of the country. To combat NCDs govt. should ensure integrated approach and financial resource’’. Hussain Mohammad Ershad, Chairman of Jatiyo Party and Special Ambassador of Prime Minister of Bangladesh said BATA delegation during meeting with him at his  residence President park on 29 august 2015. 

H M Ershad committed to raise voice for establishing Health Promotion Foundation at parliament. He assures that he'll also take necessary initiative on this issue individually. Syed Mahbubul Alam informed special envoy that, number of death in cancer, heart disease, stroke as well as non-communicable diseases is increasing constantly. Establishment of Health Promotion Foundation could play a vital role to prevent NCDs.

Bazlur Rahman, Coordinator, Tobacco Control and Research Cell,  Sharmin Akter Rini, Project Officer, Shuvo Karmokar, Assistant Advocacy Officer from WBB Trust was present in the meeting.
