Ensure Accessibility for Persons with Disabilities in all Public Places

The motto of International Human Rights Day is to ensure rights of all people including women, children and persons with disabilities. 10% of the total population of Bangladesh is person with disabilities, yet they are deprived from their right to access all the public spaces. Public spaces including parks and playgrounds are not inclusive. It has a negative impact upon their physical and mental health. To ensure universal accessibility, it is important to work from individual and national level.  On 10th December, 2016, 3.30 PM, Work for a Better Bangladesh trust organized a leaflet campaign to celebrate World Human Rights Day at Rabindra Sharobar, Dhanmondi Lake and speakers spoke the above mentioned speech there.
