Create community-based socialization opportunities

Inadequate parks and playgrounds are one of the challenges of Dhaka city. There is no playground or park in 37 wards of two City Corporation of Dhaka. Building new parks is time-consuming and requires space and money. It is very difficult to build a large-scale playground-park in a short period of time. But playing and socializing opportunities can be easily created on the unused or under-utilized roads in the community in a short period of time and on a low budget. In this case mobile playground is a timely solution.

Today, on 3 November 2022, at 11.00 am, the speakers expressed this opinion in the discussion program "Community-based Mobile Playground for Children" organized by Work for a Better Bangladesh Trust. Md. Amir Hossain, president of West Dhanmondi Shankar Kalyan Samiti, M. A. Mannan Monir, Founder of Dhaka Ideal Cadet School, Headmaster of Dhanmondi Kachikanth High School HM Nurul Islam, and Naima Akhtar, Project Manager of Work for a Better Bangladesh Trust were present as guest speakers of the meeting.
