World Car Free Day 2023 There is a demand for an integrated transport system that controls private cars, walking and cycling.

Traffic congestion is constantly increasing in the capital. None of the flyovers have eased traffic congestion. The recently partially opened elevated expressway has also not reduced the traffic congestion but has increased it in some places. Private cars occupy more space on the road and carry very few passengers. Now it is the time to regulate private cars to ensure sustainable transport in urban areas, as well as effective public transport systems and build pedestrian and cycle-friendly cities.
